1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create, and that you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. By accepting these Terms, you self-certify your age and guardianship status. If we discover that an account is held by someone under 18, we reserve the right to terminate the account immediately.
2. Who We Are
Mirror Story is operated by Sudhanav LLC, a company based in Texas, USA. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to Sudhanav LLC. For questions, contact us at contact@mirrorstory.app.
3. Description of Service
Mirror Story provides AI-generated personalized stories for children to help them process emotions and real-life situations. Stories, illustrations, narration, story series, and follow-on nights may be generated asynchronously, including through trusted background processing services, so generation can continue after you leave the page. Completion times are estimates and generation may retry, fail, or require you to try again. Stories are generated using artificial intelligence and are for entertainment and educational purposes only. Mirror Story is not a substitute for professional mental health care. Some stories may touch on emotionally sensitive topics such as grief, family changes, or anxiety. We recommend that parents preview all stories before sharing them with their child. Mirror Story is not liable for emotional reactions to AI-generated story content.
4. Parent Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must supervise your child's use of stories generated by Mirror Story. You are responsible for ensuring the situations you describe are appropriate and accurate. You must not use the service to generate inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful content.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Free plan: $0 – 1 story to try Mirror Story, 1 child profile Story Bundle: $9.99 one-time – 15 stories that never expire, up to 2 child profiles, no daily limit, email and PDF download included Pro plan: $15/month, billed monthly – 25 stories per month, up to 6 child profiles, Story Series, priority generation, email and PDF download Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Cancel anytime – cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months. Story Bundle purchases are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to generate harmful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content • Share your account credentials with others • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of our service • Redistribute or commercially exploit any AI-generated stories • Use the service in any way that could harm children
7. Content and AI-Generated Stories
Stories are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors or unexpected content. Parents can report generated stories that feel unsafe, inaccurate, inappropriate, or concerning. We review reports to improve Mirror Story safety systems and may remove, adjust, or otherwise act on content when appropriate. If a generation request fails, expires, or is blocked by safety checks, the service may show a status or failure message and may ask you to try again. Stories are for personal family use only and may not be republished, resold, or distributed commercially. You retain a personal, non-transferable license to use generated stories for private family use. Sudhanav LLC retains all underlying intellectual property rights in the service and its systems.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms of Service, engaged in harmful conduct, or if required to do so by law. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data Deletion: If you request account deletion (via the data deletion link in your account settings or by contacting us), your entire account will be permanently deleted — including your parent profile, all child profiles, all generated stories, and any active subscription. This is a complete, irreversible deletion. We do not offer partial data deletion; you cannot selectively remove individual stories or child profiles while keeping your account. Account deletion is processed as early as possible but no later than 30 days of your request. Deleting your account does not automatically trigger a refund. Please cancel your subscription before requesting deletion to avoid future charges. If you delete your account and later create a new account using the same email address, you will be treated as a brand-new user. Any prior subscription (including Pro plan or Story Bundle purchases) will not be restored, and you will start on the free plan. Inactive Accounts: Free accounts and Story Bundle accounts that have not been logged into for 12 consecutive months may be permanently deleted, including all associated child profiles and stories. We will send a warning email to the address on file at least 30 days before deletion. Active Pro subscriptions are not subject to this policy.
9. Disclaimer
Mirror Story is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that stories will be therapeutically effective. We are not mental health professionals. If your child is experiencing serious emotional distress, please consult a qualified mental health professional.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sudhanav LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Please read this section carefully – it affects your legal rights. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Mirror Story that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and Sudhanav LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or emergency relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For any matters not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Collin County, Texas.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
